His father had six major operations in a span of eight years before succumbing to the disease when Terry was 13; that same year, Terry witnessed a murder in a place of worship, provoking him into a suicidal depression. At this point in his presentation, the laughter subsides into a stunned hush. People are on the edge of their seats as Terry reveals the defining moment of humor that turned his life around!
