Dear Friends:
Thank you for your interest in having Rev. Terry Braverman as a guest speaker for your church or conference.
Rev. Terry is a newly ordained minister with the Progressive Universal Life Church; his most popular Sunday church topic, “The Healing Power of Humor,” followed by the “Trance & Dental” humor workshop, has been presented to date at over 45 Unity and Science of Mind churches around the country. The message is a blend of hilarity with heart, and focuses on the spiritual qualities of humor that help us access levity, even in adversity. Terry shares what it was like to grow up with a father who had cancer since he was four years old, who had six major operations in eight years before making his transition—what Terry learned, and how he overcame and transcended that experience, along with witnessing a murder the same year.
Speaking at a church with his professional comedic background has opened publicity doors for the church and brought in people who normally don’t attend. In addition, Rev. Terry is a musician who plays in a working L.A. band, and he would be happy to be the musical inspiration for the church as well, on the day that he speaks.
